亚洲进入“峰会季”。继柬埔寨举办东盟峰会及东亚合作领导人系列会议后，印尼和泰国先后举办二十国集团(G20)领导人峰会以及亚太经合组织(APEC)领导人非正式会议，全球治理进入“亚洲时刻”。
在纷乱时局下，经济总量占全球80%以上当年因危机而设立的二十国集团，最后能否给出应对世界难题的有效方案被寄予厚望。
G20成员有中国、阿根廷、澳洲、巴西、加拿大、法国、德国、印度、印尼、意大利、日本、韩国、墨西哥、俄罗斯、沙地阿拉伯、南非、土耳其、英国、美国以及欧盟等20方。主要就国际经济、货币政策和金融体系等重要问题进行对话，寻求合作应对世界经济的热点问题。
即将在曼谷举行的亚太经合组织 (APEC) 峰会之前，警察在诗丽吉王后国家会议中心驻守。
APEC会议：21个经济体领导人三年后的聚首
20结束后，APEC紧接着登场，第二场的多边会议是于11月18日至19日在泰国曼谷举行的亚太经合组织第二十九次领导人非正式会议，主题为“开放、联通、均衡”。这是三年来APEC第一次在线下召开会议，21个经济体的领导人将迎来三年来首次重新聚首。
今年主办国-泰国，也紧锣密鼓的把经济目光放在吸取最大外汇来源的观光收入。
泰国的政策，去年11月开始，分阶段松绑，到10月起全面解封，入境免疫苗、免PCR，机场再现人潮涌涌。
