男雇员可享7天有薪陪产假，惟人力资源部提醒须符合3条件。
人力资源部长沈志强披露，2022年获国会通过的《1955年雇佣法令》已经在去年1月1日生效，其中一项新规定即第60F条文，是有关申请有薪陪产假的条件。
他说，根据该法令，所有已婚男雇员有条件获得7天有薪产假。
“男雇员必须合法结婚、在该公司任职至少12个月，并且必须在妻子生产前的至少30天或生产后尽快通知雇主。”
沈志强是在志期3月11日的国会书面，答复民主行动党古晋国会议员俞利文质询有薪陪产假课题时，如是指出，
他补充，去年大马半岛劳工局供接获9宗有关陪产假的投诉，而今年则接获1宗投诉。
“所有投诉案均已解决，投诉的男雇员已获得有薪产假。”
去年上路的《1955年雇佣法令》阐明，女雇员的带薪产假从原有的60天增至98天，在职父亲的陪产假则从3天增至7天。
