沙拉瓦南呼吁私人界，将周五（3日）列为有薪假期。
随着联邦直辖区部宣布明日（3日）为特别假期后，人力资源部长拿督斯里沙拉瓦南呼吁私人界将明日列为有薪假期。
他今日发文告说，上述特假并非在《1955年劳工法令》（265号法令）第60D（1）（b）条文下的有薪假期，不过，政府鼓励在吉隆坡、布城与纳闽的私人界，予以雇员有薪假期。
为庆祝吉隆坡市在日前的马来西亚决赛杯中夺冠，取得32年来的最佳成绩，联邦直辖区部长拿督斯里沙希淡宣布，将12月3日列为3个直辖区的特别假期。
他说，政府是根据《1951年公共假期法令》（369号法令）第9（2）条文，将12月3日列为额外特假。
