威北双溪赖巴刹在截至9月17日，再发现18宗新冠确诊病例，威省市政厅发文告宣布延长该巴刹关闭期限7天至9月24日或另行通知日期。
威省市长拿督罗查理在文告中指出，该巴刹在上周一传出4人确诊，市厅下令该巴刹于本月15日关闭3天至17日。然而，在截至周五，该巴刹已累积22宗确诊案件，其中涉及14名小贩及8名小贩助手。

他表示，该巴刹72名小贩、7名外间小贩以及5名威省市政厅员工已被要求进行筛检。他表示，任何与小贩有密切接触的人士，受促前往县卫生局及私人诊所进行筛检。
唯有筛检结果呈阴性，就可以在本月25日或另行通知日期恢复营业。
