一名相信是圣母国中学生家长在微信上发出消息指与疑感染新冠肺炎学生的同班同学全部接受隔离。（截图）
怡保圣母国中家教协会主席梁卓纶证实该校一名学生和婆婆疑患新冠肺炎被送往接受检测。
他接受本报电话访问时证实在社交媒体上流传的短讯是由他发出，不过为了保护学生私隐权，他不透露学生的年龄和背景。
他指出，该名学生的婆婆刚从阿拉伯回国后，在检测时怀疑感染新冠肺炎，因此，该家庭成员被列为受调查患者（PUI）。
“不过，目前该家庭成员的检测报告仍未出炉，希望家长和学生不要太恐慌。”

他表示，家协是于周三获悉此事，因此发出有关短讯，以让家长们自行决定是否让孩子继续上学。
此外，在微信上也有一名相信是学生的家长，贴文表示与上述学生同班的同学全部都接受隔离。同时，有关微信信息中也指该名学生是一名初中一学生。
另一方面，周三根据卫生部脸书显示，霹州新增的1宗新冠肺炎确诊病例，确诊者为从沙地阿拉伯返马的本地人。霹州目前有3宗确诊病例。截至7月22日中午12时，霹州新冠肺炎累计确诊病例为261宗，累计死亡病例维持6宗。
