槟州副总警长拿督莫哈末阿尔维透露，槟州在今年1月至6月期间，涉及诈骗案件的总损失金额高达1亿1200万令吉，相比去年同期，去年共损失7000万令吉。
他说，警方今年共展开75次逮捕行动，逮捕51名本地男子、24名本地女子及36名外国人。
他周五（18日）在州警察总部召开记者会，受到媒体询问时，这么说。
