这起事件于周二下午2时左右，在槟榔路一间酒店发生，事发时，冷气工友正在酒店2楼安装冷气，却不慎坠落底楼，路人见状后，纷纷为冷气工友施救。政府医院也在接获投报后，派出救护车将伤者送往医院急救。
