首相兼财长安华表示，就读全寄宿学校及政府大学的T15群体学生，将被减少教育补贴。
他说，政府每年为每一位全寄宿学校学生提供的补贴高达1万5000令吉，然而有30%的学生却是来自高收入家庭。
他说，所节省的资金可用于为贫困患者购买医疗设备以及升级公立医院和诊所的设备。
