他说，其次是柔佛（110宗）、霹雳（97宗）和槟城（80宗）。
他说，事件起因包括黑社会活动、噪音干扰、醉酒、路上驾驶与意外、犯罪行为、侮辱性言行、宗教和种族挑衅、追债、宠物、嫉妒女性以及对服务或设施不满。
他透过国会书面回答伊党加浦国会议员哈丽玛询问有关种族事件的投报及起因时如是表示。
