首相兼财长拿督斯里安华表示，2024年财案的收入预估修正是因为当时时间紧迫，已经来不及重印，也无法收回整份报告，他遂指示修改（ralat）有关数据。
他说：“副财长（阿末玛斯兰）已经解释了，因为内阁会议早上才决定，但是（经济）报告已经发给了议员，我知道此事，我就说那就印修改版吧！因为我们也不能收回报告。”
安华周四（2日）在下议院代表财政部为2024年财案总结时说，针对伊斯兰党本同区国会议员拿督斯里阿旺哈欣询问财政部最后一分钟才修改2024年财案中的收入预估时，如是表示。
