查理斯伉俪抵达伦敦白金汉宫，并对在外的民众致意。
英国白金汉宫宣布，王位继承理事会会议将在英国当地时间周六上午10时（大马时间下午5时）在伦敦圣詹姆士宫召开。

查理斯将与枢密院成员出席圣詹姆斯宫王位继承理事会会议，期间宣誓及签署誓言。仪式司仪约于上午11时将在圣詹姆斯宫露台朗读声明，宣告查理斯为新国王。
查理斯目前已抵达伦敦白金汉宫，较后在当地时间傍晚6时发表全国电视讲话。
与此同时，由于加冕仪式筹备需时，预计查理三世近期内不会被授予王冠。伊丽莎白二世1952年2月继位女王，加冕仪式至1953年6月才举行。
