英国一位在太平间“干饭”的女生艾玛（Emma Yates）时不时会在Tiktok分享死亡和尸体的观念，破解大众对死亡的迷思，她也因此爆红！
根据外媒综合报导，艾玛是位解剖病理学技术员，负责尸体的检测与鉴定，她的工作日常对许多人来说充满了遥不可及的谜团与误解，因此她时常拍摄短片上传抖音破解这些迷思。
在一部短片中，艾玛解释关于“尸体是不是会突然坐起来”，艾玛表示这纯粹是谣言，尸体不会突然坐在验尸台上，人类“坐着”这个动作需要用到肌肉，但尸体并不会有肌肉，艾玛强调尸体偶尔动一下很正常，因为尸体里充满了各种气体需要排出，而排放过程就会造成尸体抽动。

艾玛也破除了“人在死后还会继续长头发和指甲”的传言，她解释尸体不会继续生长，头发和指甲看起来变长，是因为尸体脱水而变得瘦小干瘪，所以相对显得似乎头发和指甲变长了，但其实它们还是维持着生前的长度不变。
艾玛也笑称在太平间工作需要不胆小、不怕虫的特质，因为尸体时常会爬满蛆虫，她也表示幽默感是必须的，“幽默可以帮助你度过最糟糕的日子”。
