美国宣布对华的10%关税适用于香港后，美国邮政（USPS）一度暂停接收来自中国和香港邮局的入境包裹，但在大马时间5日晚9时左右，美国邮政又宣布，恢复接收来自中国和香港的包裹，“以便落实新的对华关税政策”，但未明言是否所有寄件都要开始征收关税。

据美国邮政公告，当地时间2月5日起，美国邮政将继续接收来自中国和香港邮局的入境包裹。
此前，美国邮政于当地时间4日公告称，从4日起暂停接收来自中国和香港邮局的入境包裹，直至另行通知为止。声明显示，来自中国和香港的信件不会受到影响。
