植物园区州议员李文兴批评州政府的白云山路至车水路隧道工程从2019年提出至今没有施工。

他说，明年度槟州财政预算案削减发展预算38.65％，即上限为2亿2000万令吉（2024年为3亿7471万令吉），肯定会对整个槟城需要实施的基础设施项目产生影响。

他周一在州议会建议州政府寻找另一种方法来实施惠及人民的基础设施项目，例如排水沟扩建、防洪工程、道路拓宽工程等。

他也建议联邦政府提供软贷款，特别是白云山路至车水路隧道工程。

“这个项目是槟岛市政厅在2019年提出的，但直到今天，仍然没有曙光。”
