餐馆在停车位摆放桌椅，地方政府执法员每月收2000令吉“睁一只眼，闭一只眼”，结果被反贪污委员会盯上。
反贪会是于周五下午在雪兰莪州某地逮捕这名年约40岁的男子，他涉嫌在过去半年来向餐馆老板索贿及收受约1万2000令吉，以作为没有对在餐厅停车区增加桌椅采取行动的回报。
消息人士称，这名地方政府执法员自2023年11月至今，每月向餐馆老板收取约2000令吉的现款。
“调查还发现，嫌犯每月都会通过 WhatsApp 向餐馆老板发送消息。”
与此同时，布城反贪会主任阿兹祖阿末沙卡威受询时证实上述逮捕行动，并表示此案是根据2009年反贪会法令第17(a)条文（索取/接受贿赂）进行调查。
在第17（a）条文下，一旦定罪可判处不超过20年监禁以及不低于5倍的贿金或最高1万令吉，视何者为高。
阿兹祖表示，嫌犯将在录供后获得反贪会保释。
