槟州卫生局的数据显示，从本月7日至13日的第15个流行病学周，槟州共发生了51宗骨痛热症，有2人死亡。
槟州卫生局周二发文告说，威中县发生的病例最多共18宗、其次是威南共发生15宗、接着东北县8宗、西南县及威北县分各发生5宗。
文告说，从1月至本月13日的累积病例为1730宗，以及2人死，死者分别来自西南县及威南县。
文告指出，骨痛热症热点区聚焦在威中县的阿玛再也花园和利华纳花园，以及东北县的斯里槟榔花园。
槟州卫生局吁请，民众合作，采取防范措施，杜绝让住宅区成为骨痛热症蚊虫滋生的温床。
