中国外交部长王毅与乌克兰外长库列巴上周六（17日）在慕尼黑安全会议期间会面。
王毅次日晚上表示，已向乌克兰外长库列巴保证，中国“不向俄罗斯出售致命武器”。
与此同时，根据中国外交部发表的声明，王毅强调说，北京“不会（利用局势）牟利，也不会向冲突地区或冲突各方出售致命武器”。

中国是俄罗斯非常重要的贸易和外交伙伴。中国一直被西方怀疑向在乌克兰作战的俄罗斯军队提供物资、装备甚至武器，但有关指控被中国政府驳斥。
王毅上周六在与库列巴会面时指出，无论国际形势如何变化，中方都希望中乌关系正常发展，继续造福两国人民。

他说：“我们将继续为尽快结束战争、恢复和平发挥建设性作用。即使和平只有一线希望，中国也不会放弃努力。”
