消拯员赶抵现场救火，拼力用工具撬开铁门。
大年初九祝融光顾北海一间货仓，造成建筑物80%面积被烧毁，所幸无造成任何伤亡事件。
这起火患事故于周日下午1时许，在威北甘榜格隆布布的北根达拉路一间仓库发生。

槟州消拯局发文告指出，该局行动室于下午1时55分接获投报，随即派出北海和甲抛峇底消拯员前往，竟发现一间用作货物储藏室的货仓起火。
文告说，消拯员及时将火势扑灭后，估计货仓烧毁面积达80%，包括一辆雅马哈摩托车被烧毁。灌救行动于下午3时25分结束，起火原因交由火灾调查组调查。
根据文告，警方及双溪浮油义消队也有在场援助救火。
