霹雳和丰连登新村周四凌晨遭火魔侵袭烧毁2户住家，另一户则轻微波及，所幸无人伤亡。另有2辆轿车遭焚毁，而现场2只狗成功被救出。

霹雳州消拯局发文告透露，消拯局是于周四（15日）凌晨1时16分接获火灾的投报，随即派员赶往现场展开灌救行动。

文告表示，火灾造成3间住宅分别烧毁约90%、80%和5%，参与灌救行动的消拯人员分别12人来自和丰消拯局和11人来自江沙消拯局。

文告透露，23名参与行动的消拯员，使用消拯局规定的救援、暴露、局限、扑灭和改进（RECEO）概念，先把火场范围隔离起来，再用水管接驳水槽车及消防车上的储水灭火，直到火势完全被扑灭为止。

文告也说，首辆消防车于凌晨1时44分抵达，消拯人员经灌救后，火势终于在清晨3时受到控制，直至清晨6时灌救行动才宣告结束。
