慕尤丁在庭外的记者会上声称，法庭的无罪释放裁决，证明他是清白的。
前首相丹斯里慕尤丁表示，高庭裁定对他的4项滥权指控无罪的判决已为他洗清嫌疑，因为法庭认定这些指控存在缺陷，且不符合现行法律。
慕尤丁在庭外的记者会上笑容满脸道，他从一开始就知道上述指控是出于政治动机，并坚称自己在法律上没有犯任何错误。
“我感谢法官的裁决，并且我要声明，我们将努力告知公众某些方的企图在今天被证明对我进行的虚假指控是不真实的，并且违反了任何现行法律，不适合进行审判。”
“这是某些责任方滥用法庭程序的行为，因为我被告知对于类似的案件来说，这是不寻常的。”
