怡保市政厅耗资720万令吉建造的佳邦至美鲁道路工程，已完成98%，预料可在8月开放通车。
怡保市政厅发表文告披露，此道路于去年4月开始动工建造，旨在缩短从美鲁地区到佳邦地区的距离，同时减少珠宝市镇的交通拥堵，并振兴商业和居住经济活动。
文告说，承包商目前正在该道路划上路线和安装告示牌，以完善道路的安全设施，预计将在今年8月中开放使用。
