英媒报道，美国地质调查局表示，纽西兰奥克兰群岛于当地时间周三中午12时21分，发生6.2级强烈地震。震源深度33公里，没有触发海啸警报，暂时没有伤亡或建筑物损毁报告。
奥克兰群岛是纽西兰南岛布拉夫港南方465公里处的无人群岛。
欧洲与地中海警报系统（EMSC）早前指奥克兰群岛的地震为5.7级，地震震源深度为10公里（6.21 英里）。过后修正为6.2级。
