首都谷中城购物广场火灾，相信火源是从电房开始。
火警发生在上午10时左右，电房冒出大火，滚滚浓烟冲天，途经购物广场附近联邦大道的民众纷纷摄下失火情况。吉隆坡消拯局行动中心表示，当局在接获投报后正努力扑灭火势。事发后，所有游客与商场职员，全部被紧急安排离开。
根据消拯局发言人，此事没有造成人命伤亡事故。当局在中午12分15分左右完全灭火，目前有待当局调查起火原因。
