泰旅局预计，2023年第一季度将有30万人次中国游客到访泰国。
今年1月1日至2月2日，泰国共接待中国游客9万9429人次。而2022年全年，中国到访该国游客为28万6511人次。

据中新社报导，中国是泰国最大的旅游客源国。泰旅局数据显示，2019年泰国接待3980万人次国际游客，其中中国游客达1100万人次。疫情发生以来，泰国旅游业遭到巨大冲击，入境游客包括中国游客数量大幅下滑。
2月6日起，中国试点恢复全国旅行社及在线旅游企业经营中国公民赴有关国家出境团队旅游和“机票+酒店”业务，首批试点国家包括泰国等20个国家。
据泰旅局预计，2023年第一季度将有30万人次中国游客到访泰国，全年将超500万人次。
