宝福社大伯公请火是槟城新春传统之一，每年吸引不少善信前去“观火”，了解来年经济走向。
据该社脸书专页，2月4日（农历正月十四日）中午12时开始大伯公上香膜拜仪式，下午2时开始从宝福社出发游行至头条路，然后乘特备巴士前往丹绒道光海珠屿大伯公庙。
“请火仪式落在当天晚上11时。”

2月5日（农历正月十五日）则是参香及回程，当天清晨5时大伯公香担将从海珠屿大伯公庙出发，前往市区让各约定社员及相关庙宇，进行参香。

“晚上8时花车游行，将从崔耀才路城隍庙出发，按行程返回宝福社。”
最后一天活动落在2月6日（农历正月十六日）下午4时，举行犒军仪式。
