诺莱妮认为，国阵应顺民意成为反对党。
国阵妇女组主席拿督斯里诺莱妮认为，今届大选成绩证明，国阵应该成为反对党，惟倘若有需要，国阵可以成为执政党的友好伙伴，但保持其中立性。
诺莱妮今日发表文告称，虽然今届大选，没有任何政党联盟获得112席议席执政联邦政府，但国阵只获得30席，应该继续留在反对党阵营。
“然而，在组成政府方面，若有需要，国阵可以成方任何政党联盟的友好伙伴。”
诺莱妮指这必须要有条件，即国阵在政府所提呈的国会议案中，国阵可自由参与辩论、支持或反对，保持其中立性（扮演其制衡角色）。
“只要执政党联盟仍尊重宪法的精神及维持国家的政治稳定，国阵就不可以企图去推翻已形成的执政政党联盟，直到议会解散为止。”
她指必须尊重人民所做出的决定，国阵未来必须将重点锁在恢复人民对国阵的信心上。
