依斯迈（右2）周五参观电动巴士综合制造厂。
为了推动大马在2050年成为碳中和国家，首相拿督斯里依斯迈沙比里说，纯电动巴士预先在吉隆坡、布城和大城市试行后，再扩大到全国各地。
据他了解，吉隆坡市政局已向生产商SKSBus集团订购60辆纯电动巴士，这批巴士会在今年起至2023年分阶段到手。
他希望其他巴士公司能效法采用电动巴士且予以免费GoKL巴士服务的隆市政府，从而协助政府最快可在2050年达到碳中和国家的目标。
他今日参观上述集团位于浮罗美兰蒂的电动巴士综合制造厂后，对记者这么说。

该集团的子公司SKS Coachbuilders私人有限公司在巴士制造工业有逾50年经验，是受到认证且获得机器人工厂支援的本土巴士制造厂。

该集团自2019年与中国中车（CRRC）进行技术合作，打造纯电动巴士。
充满电源后的SKSBus纯电动巴士，可行驶高达250公里。
