吉打港口往返浮罗交怡的客船服务，将在本月23日起恢复运作。
Ferry Line Ventures客船公司人力资源及运营经理峇哈林周六在文告中指出，有关客船服务决定在9月23日重新运作，是为了让路给政府及私人界为新冠肺炎检测工作安排做好准备。
他说，届时该公司将会每日开放2趟班次，并会监督购买船票的趋势。
“以我们在玻州港口码头的经验，许多已购买船票的乘客，因受到社交媒体不实的消息影响，选择不前往浮罗交怡，或申请将船票改期”。

他希望网上所流传玻州港口码头出现拥挤的旧闻，不会吓唬前去浮罗交怡的游客。

他说，对于游客启程前往浮罗交怡前进行新冠检测的这项措施表示欢迎，这多少可让乘客及岛上居民安心。
此外，他也提醒所有前往浮罗交怡的乘客，在出发前2个小时抵达码头，以避免日前在玻州港口码头因进行新冠检测导致拥挤的情况再次发生。
