也门局势持续不稳，当地军方于上周六透露，政府军近日与当地什叶派叛军青年运动在马里卜重燃战火，造成至少47人死亡，包括16名政府军。
政府军消息称，青年运动在马里卜发动多条战线，并试图挺进，大部分被击退。另有消息人士表示，以沙地阿拉伯为首、支持政府军的联军曾多次空袭叛军据点。
马里卜是也门政府在北部的最后堡垒，青年运动试图夺取当地，藉此取得附近油田掌控权。联合国也门特使葛瑞菲斯于上周二向联合国安全理事会声称，自己过去3年致力结束当地战争的努力，均是徒劳无功。
