《中央社》报导，美国国务院12日公布年度宗教自由报告，批评中国迫害宗教少数族群。国务院高阶官员抨击，中国政府实质上将新疆地区变成“露天监狱”。

美国国务院今天公布“2020年国际宗教自由报告”（2020 Report on International Religious Freedom ），对全球宗教自由进行年度更新，文中具体描述中国对于法轮功的迫害。
国务院国际宗教自由办公室（Office of International Religious Freedom）高阶官员纳德尔（Daniel Nadel）告诉记者，新疆地区维吾尔人及其他穆斯林族群被强迫劳动，行动受到密切追踪。
他表示，中国原先使用“职业技能教育培训中心”关押维吾尔人及其他穆斯林族群，如今已转为运用监控“实质上将整个地区变成露天监狱”。对于穆斯林的迫害，是中国“数十年来压制宗教信徒的高峰”。
