丹麦成为首个全面弃用英国牛津大学与阿斯利康药厂合作研发新冠疫苗的欧盟成员国。

丹麦卫生部门称，阿斯利康新冠疫苗跟罕有但严重的副作用有关联，包括血栓、大量失血和血小板减少，因此基于疫情在丹麦已受到控制，所以决定停止使用该疫苗。
当局决定在继续推动新冠疫苗接种计划的同时，放弃为国民接种阿斯利康，这将令接种目标延后4周。

大约100万名丹麦民众已经接受第一剂疫苗注射，其中77%是辉瑞BioNTech疫苗，7.8%是莫德纳，阿斯利康约15.3%。至于接种了首剂阿斯利康疫苗的民众，当局会为他们注射辉瑞或莫德纳疫苗。
