The Andaman Resort在脸书发文告，酒店暂时关闭至另行通知。
该酒店在脸书发文告指出，该酒店以住客的安全至上，已安全疏散住客及安排住客到姐妹酒店入宿，住客都未受伤。
文告指出，该酒店因周二的一场火灾而暂时关闭至另行通知，目前暂不接受客房预定。

该酒店对于今次发生的事件深表遗憾，因为很多住客对该酒店有归宿感。无论如何，该酒店也对来自社区的关怀深表感动，将会保持乐观态度，期望很快再欢迎住客的到来。

“The Andaman Resort”于周二下午约4时许发生火灾，较后于周三凌晨约1时许因大风的风向所致而死灰复燃，导致酒店主楼旁的木制结构建筑物再度起火，近100%烧毁。
