槟岛有2所酒店被宪报为隔离中心，即彩虹天堂酒店及Bahang Bay酒店。彩虹天堂酒店自今年7月26日作为隔离从外国归来的国民。
槟州地方政府委员会主席佳日星今日在彩虹天堂酒店召开记者会时指出，843人所隔离且离开的人士，新冠肺炎检测都呈阴性结果。
“彩虹天堂酒店作为隔离中心至今所已经容纳843人，迄今没有出现任何确诊病例。我们也希望剩余59人的检测一样呈阴性。”
