随着一批269名罗兴亚难民登陆浮罗交怡直落尼蒙海滩，毗邻的玻璃市州，警方已做好应对措施，确保玻州海域不受外来移民入侵。
玻州总警长拿督苏丽娜表示，警方会执行“堡垒行动”，阻止非法移民潜入我国，遏制新冠肺炎疫情蔓延。
她说，警方持续从各方面进行搜索，包括鉴定涉经营人蛇生意，及安排偷渡客从玻州入境我国的舵公。她是在接受《每日新闻》的访问时，如是表示。
苏丽娜表示，警方会执行“堡垒行动”，阻止非法移民潜入我国，遏制新冠肺炎疫情蔓延。
相信是来自科克斯巴扎尔（Cox’s Bazar）难民营的269名罗兴亚难民，耗时将近4个月，周一乘船偷渡进入浮罗交怡，执法单位试图驱逐该船只离开，但，因船身与引擎遭人蓄意破坏，以致当局无法把它驱逐，被迫紧急施予人道救援，让他们登陆。
269名罗兴亚难民当中，有80名男子、138名女子、26名男童及23名女童，此外警方也在检查难民船时，发现一具女难民尸体，警方已将遗体送往医院太平间解剖。
