政府宣布新经济振兴配套，拨2500亿令吉“关怀”全民渡过新冠肺炎疫情。
首相丹斯里慕尤丁宣布，政府将拨出2500亿令吉用作这次的新经济振兴配套，并强调这次的配套绝对“关怀”（prihatin）全民，没有国人会在这次的新经济配套中被遗漏。

他周五公布新经济振兴配套时表示，当中的1280亿令吉会用作照顾人民福祉，1000亿令吉会用作支持商业领域，200亿令吉用来稳固经，另外的20亿令吉已经在第一次的经济振兴配套做宣布。
他表示，政府将为家庭收入低于4000令吉的家庭，发放“一次性”（one-off）1600令吉的援助金，预料全国将有400万个家庭受惠。
“若家庭收入介于4000令吉至8000令吉，则能够获得1000令吉的援助金。”
