任贤齐日前增肥15kg拍摄电影《跑马》，却因为导演钮承泽卷入性侵风波，电影陷入停摆，不过在《跑马》复工以前，他前一部作品《沉默的证人》将先问世，日前也传来捷报，获选香港国际电影节开幕片，一扫他年前阴霾。
《沉》片由《终极警探2》（Die Hard 2）、《割喉岛》（Cutthroat Island）好莱坞导演雷尼哈林（Renny Harlin）执导，张家辉及任贤齐联手演出，他俩15年前曾在杜琪峰执导的《大事件》中合作，这回在《沉默的证人》再度展开警匪大战，张家辉及任贤齐还有近身肉搏战，但也操得两人精疲力尽，任贤齐都忍不住笑说∶“真的要先练好身体，至少可以比较耐打。”（台湾苹果日报报道）
