长途巴士在美金园丘休息站的停车区著火燃烧，庆幸司机和24乘客皆无受伤。
一辆开往金马仑高原的长途巴士，周四在南北大道靠近美罗的美金园丘休息站未知何故起火，所幸巴士司机和24名乘客皆没有受波及。

负责拯救行动的美罗消拯局官员诺阿斯汉指出，该局是于周四下午4时19分接获长巴失火投报，消拯人员在仕林河消拯局和打巴消拯局的支援下，赶往现场展开救援行动。
他说，事发时，该辆巴士当时正从吉隆坡前往金马仑高原，在驶至美金园丘休息站时起火燃烧，整辆巴士80%被烧毁，惟车内的24乘客和司机皆无大碍。
他表示，该辆长途巴士在著火燃烧后，火势滔天，浓烟濔漫，整辆巴士被烧成形如废铁。
