6日凌晨，台湾一名有酒驾前科的51岁蔡姓男子酒后驾车，途中行经新北市林口区文化三路与宝林路口，疑因不胜酒力，整辆车失控突往林口警分局文林派出所冲去，人车当场撞进派出所内，导致派出所门口石阶、大门、值班台、电脑、驻地监视器、无线电桌机、消毒设备等公物毁损。
所幸事发当下，值班警及时躲开，现场没有人受伤。经警酒测值达每公升0.89毫克。蔡男因嚷著腰痛，警戒护就医，依公共危险罪嫌送办。
