魏家祥协助障友，并亲自推轮椅离开车厢。
交通部长拿督斯里魏家祥宣布，从即日起（8月31日）至9月30日，障友可免费乘搭公共交通工具。
他说，适逢2022年国庆日，障友可免费乘搭由国家基建公司所管理的所有公共交通服务，即概括了轻快铁（LRT）、捷运（MRT）、单轨火车（Monorel) 、快捷系统巴士（BRT）及短程巴士的Rapid KL， Rapid Penang、Rapid Kuantan及Rapid Mobiliti服务。
“这项优惠举措将从8月31日开始至9月30日。目前每月分别有平均2万3527名及2万6762名障友，使用巴士和铁路公共交通服务。“

魏家祥表示，所有已向福利局注册并拥有障友卡的障友，可享有这项为期31天的福利。
他今日（31日）在敦拉萨国际贸易中心（TRX）捷运站主持了活动后，宣布了上述的优惠。
