公正党卸任副主席蔡添强希望，党的新领导层能够为人民所面对的问题寻找出路，才能够让公正党能够继续贴近人民。
他说，人民对政治感到厌倦，不是因为受欢迎的领袖无法成为首相，而是人民的问题一直没有得到解决方案。
他指出，掌权就是为了要照顾人民的福祉，人民希望政党能够为他们的问题找到解决方案。
蔡添强周日（17日）在公正党代表大会上进行总结时，如是指出。
公正党必须超越 不能只依赖安华

另一方面，他表示，公正党必须超越党主席拿督斯里安华，该党不能只依赖安华。
他认为，公正党不仅要让安华成为首相，而是要让未来每一任主席都成为我国的首相。
他说，公正党有责任为每一任的主席赢得首相职位。
