劳斯莱斯全电动飞机Spirit of Innovation在上周二的测试飞行中，达到每小时623公里的最高时速，劳斯莱斯直指这已创下电动飞机的最快速度，相关资料已交由国际航空联盟查核。

据《BBC》报导，这次测试飞行是在英国威尔特郡Boscombe Down机场进行的，该架飞机使用400千瓦的电动动力系统，相当于535匹马力的超级跑车，其电池组足以为7500支手机充电。
劳斯莱斯指出，旗下电动飞机所测出的时速623公里，比西门子eAircraft于2017年创下的纪录多出200多公里，同时飞机在飞行3公里和15公里的距离后分别能保持时速555.9公里、532.1公里。

此外，劳斯莱斯电动飞机爬升到3000公尺高度只需要202秒，比过去的纪录减少60秒左右。劳斯莱斯执行长伊斯特表示，这是继2021年联合国气候变迁大会之后，另一项有助于环境的里程碑，对于海陆空运输发展脱炭技术相当重要。
