世界银行周四（21日）表示，全球油价近期大幅上涨可能会威胁经济增长，而且价格在2023年之前不太可能回落。

法新社报道，根据世行发布的最新《商品市场展望》，今年年底的平均原油价格预计将达到每桶70美元（约291令吉），比2020年高出70%。报告说，油价上涨也将推高天然气等其他能源价格。
世界银行首席经济学家高斯说：“能源价格的飙升对全球通胀构成了重大的近期风险。如果持续下去，还可能对能源进口国的增长造成压力。”
他说：“涨幅比以前所预测的更明显。各国从去年的全球经济衰退中复苏所作出的政策选择将变得更复杂。”
