不管是大马公民或外国人士，欲入境我国后申请居家隔离，都必须在出发前7天提出申请。

卫生部在社交媒体指出，申请者必须在出发前7天发送电邮予大马卫生部提出申请，邮址为[email protected]。
一旦申请获得批准，入境时必须携带卫生部在回函中发出的电邮批准信。至於不符合条件者，则必须在政府指定的隔离中心进行隔离。
