葛米星被判罚款及吊销驾照3个月。
新加坡本地喜剧演员葛米星因为超速驾驶，被判罚款800元(约2489令吉)及吊销驾照3个月。
现年56岁的葛米星承认一项超速驾驶的罪状，控状指他于今年4月12日晚上9时30分，以每小时131公里的车速，行驶在兀兰12道往实里达快速公路（SLE）的方向。该路段的车速是限制在每小时70公里。

葛米星没有聘请律师。他在庭上表示，当天在接儿子放工前，听到车子传出“拍打”的声响，于是他在接了儿子后想让他听听这个声响。
结果，他发现这个声响是在车速上升到每小时100公里以上后才传出。
他告诉法官，当时行驶的距离非常短，自己并不知道车子如何加速到每小时131公里，但希望法官了解他不是个每天都会超速的鲁莽司机。
