拜登暗示对中俄采强硬立场。
美国总统拜登周四在国务院发表上任以来首场重要外交政策演说时，暗示对中国和俄罗斯采取强硬立场。
他说：“美国领导层必须迎接这个独裁主义不断推进的新时刻，包括竞争野心越来越大的中国，以及决心破坏与扰乱美国民主的俄罗斯。我们必须应对新的时局……从新冠肺炎疫情、气候变化到核武扩散，它们都对全球构成越来越大的挑战。”
他强调，美国政府将致力重塑美国在国际社会的领导地位，修复与盟友的关系，加强合作共同应对环球挑战。美国要在国际上重新获得信誉和道德权威。
他说，政府会直面中国对美国繁荣、安全及民主价值所带来的挑战，包括经济暴行，也会反击中国侵略与强制的行动，但在符合美国利益的情况下，随时与中国合作。
他也透露，已向俄罗斯总统普京表明不会容忍选举干预、网络攻击、毒害公民等侵略行径，也要求立即无条件释放俄罗斯反对派领袖纳瓦尼。
