政府将延长就业保险计划（SIP），社会保险机构（PERKESO）将为失业人士提供求职津贴，为期6个月。
失业人士在申请求职津贴后，首个月将可获得薪资的80%津贴，并逐渐递减至薪资的30%津贴。

此外，2021年，求职津贴将延长多3个月，意味着首个月可获得薪资80%的津贴、第2至第6个月可获得薪资50%的津贴、第7至第9个月则可获得30%的薪资津贴。
东姑扎夫鲁指出，政府将拨款1亿5000万令吉用作这项措施，预料将有13万人受惠。

至于那些因新冠肺炎疫情而失去工作者，个人所得税免税额将从1万令吉提升至2万令吉。
