有145名被捕示威者确诊新冠肺炎。
印尼安塔拉通讯社报道，因反新劳工法而被捕的3862名示威人士中，有145人的新冠肺炎检测结果呈阳性。
安塔拉是引述警方发言人的谈话，如是报道。

印尼国会周一通过备受争议的《综合性创造就业法》，修订70多项劳工法，引发该国数个大城市接连数天发生大规模示威活动，有些地区甚至还爆发警民冲突。
专家此前已发出警告，示威活动可能会引发新感染群，让本已严重的疫情急剧恶化。
印尼至今累计确诊病例32万4658宗，累计死亡病例1万1677宗，疫情在东南亚仅次于菲律宾，不过死亡人数确远超菲律宾。
