科技网站TechGenyz指出，超微（AMD）表示，已取得美国政府的许可证，能供货给中国科技企业华为，成为第一家公开宣称已取得许可证、能供货给华为的美国企业。

据TechGenyz称，超微资深副总裁Forrest Norrod在上周六举办的德意志银行科技研讨会上表示，已取得供货给华为的许可证。他同时也说，华为的供货禁令未对超微的业务造成重大影响。网站指出，Forrest Norrod的这项宣布，也使超微成为第一家公开宣称已取得许可证供货给华为的美国企业。
Forrest Norrod已一再强调，超微会完全遵循美国法律，也已采取适当措施，确保超微能妥善管理客户清单、及和客户或潜在客户之间的互动。
在华为供货禁令于上周二生效后，三星电子、联发科、新力及其他制造商都证实，会停止供货给华为。美光等先前已从美国政府取得出口许可证的企业，也已停止供货给华为，而英特尔、联发科、三星、SK海力士及台积电等业者，都透露已向美国商务部申请供货许可证。
