亚罗士打平安园暨成功园华人福利协会在疫情中低调庆中元，并慷慨拨款1200令吉捐献予《光华日报》中元节筹募独中教育基金，支持华教不遗余力。
该会主席洪裕宽，副财政廖珣吉周一在拜祭大士爷祀典上移交上述捐款予本报吉玻新闻中心经理陈文辉，吉华独中副董事长洪锡倡，新民独中财政尤雯禾与副经济主任曾文春见证。
