针对隔离中心的费用，首相署部长（特别事务）拿督斯里莫哈末礼端披露，政府总共耗费了1亿1590万令吉。
他指出，其中的4960万令吉作为临时隔离中心之用的酒店，其余则是政府设备。
“在政府设备的隔离中心，每人费用为4700令吉，酒店则是4100令吉，惟返国的国民只需付2100令吉，每日只是150令吉。”
他在回应大山脚国会议员沈志强的提问时，如是指出。

至于贫穷人家或学生，他指的确有例外，但不是每个学生都豁免有关费用。

“如果他们的父母亲来自高收入群，他们没有资格获得豁免。”
至于从也门返国的100名学生，巴西马国会议员阿末法德里指倘若学生没有缴交按柜金，不获进入他们指定的隔离中心，礼端指相关问题已解决。
“原因是当局要整理他们的资料，以便要知道谁能付及不能付房租。”
